Thank you for your participation, and that’s a great idea! And honestly such a fun way to remember kanji haha. I can totally imagine your teacher saying, “Wow, where did you get this?!”
So interesting! Paper bags, wallets, etc. have become quite popular in Germany in recent years but I didn't know the history of "unbreakable" paper goes back such a long time! I'd use it as a library bag to bring home an extra lot of novels and travel guides. ;)
Thank you for joining the giveaway! I had no idea paper bags and wallets were a trend in Germany, that’s so cool! This rice-bag tote is honestly the strongest paper bag I’ve ever used, so I’m sure it could carry plenty of novels and travel guides with no problem.
Not a sexy usage, but it is perfect for groceries. No need anymore for those plastic bags that fall apart after one usage. A strong bag that can be filled up over and over again 🥰
What a find! It's definitely on the visit/to-do list for t he next trip. I love the observation - "The rice bag’s fibers are alive — flexible, strong, and deeply intertwined" - and the idea that we can carry the tree with us in some way.
Great idea! It definitely looks sturdy enough to hold lots of heavy things. I’ve been using an eco bag myself, but it’s always on the verge of breaking because I carry way too much. So I might need to switch to this too!
Thank you so much for participating in the giveaway!
I love this bag. I am coming to Japan in may. It would make a perfect bag for my sightseeing adventures, as well as at home in Hawaii for shopping and going to the beach.
Thank you so much for your comment and for participating in the giveaway! That’s amazing that you’re visiting Japan in May! Where in Japan are you planning to visit?
I’m sure this bag would definitely catch people’s attention, both in Japan and even back home in Hawaii like where did you get this?!
Thank you so much for participating in the giveaway! That’s such a great idea. I think I’ll use it for library books too! It’s definitely sturdy enough to handle that book heaviness.
I’d carry my books to my Japanese lesson in it! 🎌🏯

Yes exactly! Groceries are the best way to use this bag’s strength! I always end up buying way too much and destroying the flimsy ones too.
I want to use this bag for a picnic!
Thank you for the comment here from the note!
I always end up carrying too much when I go grocery shopping, so I’d love to use this for my shopping!
I do the same! I haven’t tried it for grocery shopping yet, but that’s definitely a great idea! Thank you for your participation!

Yes! If you’re visiting Hiroshima, i think that’s a great idea since it’s very close to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The smell of the bag really does feel like carrying a tree with me, in the best way!
All my art supplies for the animation classes I’m teaching!
That’s something creative! What kind of art supplies do you usually carry?
I can totally imagine your students saying, “Wow, what’s your new bag?!”
A premium grocery bag (although it's too fancy for that).
Great idea! It definitely looks sturdy enough to hold lots of heavy things. I’ve been using an eco bag myself, but it’s always on the verge of breaking because I carry way too much. So I might need to switch to this too!

Going to Osaka, then hakone and on to Kyoto. Will probably try to go to Tokyo for a day
What a wonderful bag. I think it would be perfect to carry my library books in.

I can be a bit of a pack mule.. so likely I’d carry everything in it when I Travel!
I totally get that! Haha I’m the same kind of person. I try to fit everything in the bag when I travel and get frustrated when it doesn’t all fit...
Thank you so much for participating!
When I’ve got too much stuff at a sports match! And even during traveling too!
Thanks for joining the giveaway! You’re so right — traveling around Japan with this tote would totally turn heads!
@Liane Wakabayashi, Just tagging you here so I don’t forget your participation from Note too. Thank you!
I use this when I go to the gym!
